hmm i see that i shouldnt have brought up the thoughtexamples the point is, the theory is two sided, because i thought something very complicated up after reading carlos castaneda, and a friend of mine came up with a very similar idea, i then realized how far you can go without contradicting yourself... the reason you found contradictions is 2 1 i didnt realize i brought up two partials of the two so similar theories 2 i didnt point out clear enough what i mean by energy i think its most interesting to think about the energy as a form of life in itself meaning that the body we live in is only the manifestation we subconsciously choose for this world... say if you are energy that has a consciousness, this energy must work many processes subconsciously meaning that the fact we dont realize that reality is actually only an interaction of energy that is interpreted by ourselves but also created through ourselves, you could call it creative perception... this is just freakin long to explain, i need to write a good aphorism about it... cheers Erm... Kurdt... I know AnG mentioned giving you a karma point. Whether she gave you one or not, I dunno, but it seems like you don't have it. I'll fix it. (I think karma points randomly disappear... I gave Kage one and it poofed.) -SK

Ahh, I think I understand. It`s long as shit but hey, go for it It sounds worthy enough of detail and length Same thing for you, Kage. Your karma point went *poof*, too. I'll fix it as soon as I can. (And I'll ask AnG about it when I talk to her.) -SK

you are my sunshine, my only sunshine
what if all reality is just an abstract pattern of energy in a huge sun that by a terrific coincidence appeared to be some sort of a matrix (maybe even like the movie in a way but i dont use the word for that reason) in which all of reality is? what if all existence was to end the moments the complex pattern of the energy would have been walked through by us....
i like that theory, expand plz

Ummm... you expand I don`t know if I said this before, but I`ll say it now. Not to offend or stagnate this thread but, all these 'what ifs' are great and all - they expand our minds and help us to think outside the box - but they`re not really of much use to us here I think, unless you care to elaborate a little and construct, or at least aim to construct, some kind of system or framework that backs up our theories. Otherwise metaphysics will be and remain to be nothing but speculation rather than a whole hearted drive towards truer knowledge. Otherwise, one could very well say true reality is under the thumb of a giant or Gods footrest and some might agree. I suppose that`s why I`m as critical as I am on here - I`m narrowing down the choices as best as I can, and I hope you guys do the same, if not on here then in your heads. Anyway, feels like I`m ranting a little... so I`ll end with something related to the topic at hand. We see reality, or rather, what we see is reality to us. Who`s to say what we see isn`t reality? Maybe a tree is just a tree, and the atoms that are it are just that. I mean, we`ve (humans) scrutinized what is our reality through science thoroughly and it all makes sense. The system works and is provable. Water is made of water molecules and this is provable by adding heat to excite the molecules into motion thus boiling the water. As we all know this is one way of many to test reality and watch it conform to scientific knowledge. That beyond science (our theories and speculations) will be scientific as soon as science has the ability to properly analyse and test it. Then again there have been discoveries that have turned portions of science on its head. Einstein imagined and now we have E=MC 2 and relativity after testing (scientific and imaginary). I feel myself beginning to talk about the value of proper theorizing again, so I`ll stop

you forgot how science could be the product of our imagination too

Heh, no sir. I opted to ignore the possibility in order to explore another, in that last instance obviously, a reality without any magical and romantic fantasies. I only think I know what you`re getting at, but why don`t you explain yourself clearer? I`m guessing imagination is a bad choice of words on your behalf; science is too rigid and intricate to be somebodys or everybodys conjured up system...
