How many of you have had to deal with adversity all in the name of anime?
I have 16 anime figurines, 3 huge wall scrolls, a lot of anime dvds, and a crapload of desktops wallpapers.
Sometimes I talk to my figurines.
I am Anime club president at my university.
The usual reactions from newcomers in my room is "Wtf did you land on when your mother dropped you on your head as a child?"
When I find someone who likes anime, I get so excited my voice accelerates to the point of surpassing the sound barrier and sounds like a deafening boom to the ears of my victim.
I have a plushie.
I have about $3000 worth of pirated anime on cd-r. Maybe more.
These things tend to give many people pause, but I have slowly overcome the awkwardness that people usually try to inflict on me once they find out how entrenched I am in anime.
How deep are you into anime? Have you ever had the suggestion that you be commited for the obsession? Has anime ever cleaned out your bank account faster than the Roadrunner on a desert highway? How have YOU suffered for the love of anime?

Hehe...if you have $3000 of pirated anime, then I probably have..err...had $1500.
I'm an average anime fan. But lately I find myself liking anime a lot more than regular television (could it be that the college only allows 10 channels here?). I also have a lot of anime soundtracks (mostly thanks to auraki) as well.

I have no clue how much anime I have and it's worth if it was on DVDs. But if you look at the price of Anime, it is very pricey esp the boxsets on CD Japan. Gasp the boxset for DB the original series was $1000. Gah if only I am rich I have too much love for Video Games, Video Game Music, Anime. Jpop oh well "LIVE IS TOO SHORT"

Yup. Most of my life belongs to anime. And it's like Auraki said, before I had to take them down to move, I had tons and tons of posters all over my walls and ceiling. It was actually impossible to see any of my sissy wallpaper. When I finally took them down, I filled a nalgene bottle to the brim with tacks... I have so much freakin' manga I read, and I don't borrow, I buy...so everyone knows me at my bookstore(Walden Books in the Maine Mall) by my name, one of my best friends works there as well, and when they do "Buy four get one free" it's like freakin' christmas. I spend every free weekend I have in Wesbrook at my friends anime store and I hang out there with my friends...all day. We play Naruto, and Super Smash Bros. and read and watch anime and go to movies on opening nights... And figurines??!! Don't even get me started, 16 you said? I've got like 50. No joke, tons of Naruto ones, and a few Fullmetal Alchemist ones. I also collect pins, I've got like 20 of those...And as for DVDs, I've got all of Saiyuki, Cowboy Bebop, Fruits Basket, Haibanei Renmai, Hellsing, X, Rune Soldier, FMA, and Naruto, as well as Escaflowne the movie, VHD, Shaolin Soccer, Cowboy Bebop movie/s(both english and Japanese) and Trigun on VHS. And yeah, my parents think I'm crazy, so does my brother. Luckily most of my friends, my friend Liz especially like anime. And thank goodness I found people up here who like it too!! Anime is best watched in groups!! So yeah, what else...half my favorite songs are in Japanese, half the cds I own are Japanese, my name means bird in Japanese, and I think Asian guys are hot!!!! ^_^

[glow=blue,4,300]Well, I know I had a good amount of anime on my comp before my harddrive got erased... all of it completely irreplaceable. But I do have tons of wallpapers, I have some of the DVDs, I'm beginning to collect the figurines/pins/keychains and what have you. I'm getting around to expanding my collection, but I'm a broke college student so I only have but so much money. My list of priorities: 1. Food. 2. Food. 3. Food. 4. Homework 5. Food. 6. Going to class. 7. Relaxation/anime/playing PS2/chillin w/friends/food 8. Sleep. 9. Food.[/glow]

[glow=blue,4,300]Why would it soak through? Wouldn't it just overflow? Either way, that's really really a serious case of Anime Love. ;D I must applaud you for your dedication to anime. *gives standing ovation*[/glow]

The bag is made of space age material which doesnt allow for anykind of leakage and has a tube coming off it which leads to a resevoir outside to stop overflowing.
