my friend jaime told me to write a poem today. she wanted me to write one on LJ, so i did. it was just a quick one. but that's generally how they are right?
as i wonder endlessly through this eternal maze called life i think to myself what is the purpose? what is my role? what is my reason? what is my goal? a poem is a poem a rhyme, but a rhyme but what shall i do with my almost endless time? squander my money sell my soul work so hard so hard for what? we work we learn and we work some more but for what? the greater good of our culture our economy our people our fait is what? the neverending work consumes us and no one ever really asks for the reason maybe it's because that reason is doomed to be unknown maube it's because that reason is everyone else i believe that you are here to help others though you may never notice it your life impacts upon others and others upon others it's a neverending string of stories of lives connected by a thin red line one thousand and one nights forever and a day a single story that branches into many and explains our downfalls our achievements and how we are here to help each other for the greater good of man
okies. done. what do you guys think? i have kind of a weird style of my own. so forgive me for that.

Dear AnG, you see that ^ ? Your board is wiggin out . what i meant to do: "i believe that you are here to help others though you may never notice it your life impacts upon others and others upon others it's a neverending string of stories of lives connected by a thin red line one thousand and one nights forever and a day a single story that branches into many" <3 This was an amazing poem, straight from the heart, understandable, spoke volumes to me. I give it 2 thumbs up. *snaps finger* write on. o.o

Hey that's an excellent poem. I agree and repeat with everything anima had to say about it. As long as your poetry conveys what's most important to you, then it is a great success. Like singing, it doesn't matter shit if you have the greatest voice in the world, if you don't sing with soul. You can have a voice wracked with discord and pain. I guess what I'm saying is, who's better known: SATCHMO or pavarotti? What a wonderful world....oh yeaaahh.....

.... Satchmo = Louis Armstrong, for those who don't know.
Continuing what I was saying... Although we are constantly revising our works and words, you have made the biggest first step in poetry. ^-^ Congrats!
