I am normally not a watcher of scary movies, simply for the fact that my imagination already naturally screws up my life.
I went to this with a bunch of people, so the scary factor somehow left entirely.
Was I the only one who wasn't scared by this movie? I think the only real scary part was the way the camera moved in fast forward in certain times. And as much as I love Cary Eweles' acting....I think he has the same problem that Brad Pitt has.....he can't cry convincingly. So, when an emotional scene came up for him, I found myself laughing rather than feeling badly.
So...thoughts?

I don`t know what scary is, mainly because I`m such a macho hardass. But I found the beginning to be kinda twisted. Shit that makes you mouth "damn...." or "that`s some fucked up shit...." But it wasn`t very scary.
I don`t know the actors, but I thought the doctor guy wasn`t too good an actor, but I don`t really know how somebody would act in that situation, but I`d imagine somebody wouldn`t act as he did.
I`d still encourage people to see it, but although all my peoples said it will be a classic, I have to say it falls just a bit short.

I don't think Saw was meant to be a horror and scare you silly...Saw is more a film to make you squirm and think ew.
I love Cary Elwes too, a very underrated actor, but yes the only film I've ever seen him get upset in and believed was the Princess Bride and he didn't actually cry just looked sad lol
I'd say, for me it's one of those films like Blue Velvet, it's good but doesn't quite hit the mark.
