I just saw this movie two days ago in the theater. Personally, it was not worth the money and the nipping coldness and hunger to go see but... and I do say BUT, it was a good movie. Has any one else seen it yet? Whoever wrote that story has a rather nice imagination. The oldest girl, one of three of the children in this movie is very pretty for her age. I was rather disappointed in her at the end of the movie. She let me down. Any way would you have gone to see this movie in the theater or would you not even consider looking at it? What made you decide this?

Oh my god, this movie sucked. I agree, I should not have spent the money to see this thing. BUT, it was either this or Spanglish. I did think that the young girl and guy did a fantastic job acting. I believe that that is the girls second movie, the first being Ghost Ship. The script lacked and the acting was something else entirely. People say that this is Jim Carey's best movie, but I think not. The cinemetography(sp) was completely new, and I did like that, but over all, It sucked.

I saw it twice..not because it was so great, but because the first time Luni took me to movies since he owed me that and Lemony Snickers was the one that we didn't have to wait for. Second time I saw it with my host family.
Anyways, I think it was a pretty good movie. The kid of my host family didn't like it cause he had read the books and apparently it didn't quite follow the original story. The children were great actors, though, and Sunny was soooo cute *^^* Jim Carrey did a great job at some scenes, but a lo of time he was too...Jim Carry. Count Olaf was supposed to be scary, not funny. But my overall opinion was positive. After all I saw it twice and didn't fall asleep even on the second time regardless of my temperature.
