HOLY SHIT! only a couple of days till its release.
and ive been thinking lots of people down my way are all chattering about how analkin turns into vader, and it suddenly hit me like a brick.
my thoughts being that the reason he turns agaisnt the light is due to his piece o girl thingy. with jedi not being able to marry and shit he cant get hitched without breaking the rules of the order so he goes awol and kills some shit up. im kinda hoping im right only to be right but i hope im not so it'll be a surprise... i've got my ticket booked for the 29th so dont anyone fucking tell me or im gonna kill some shit up with a big whooshy neon stick

LOL, he already defied the rules by marrying Amidala at the end of Episode II. I don't know if he turns against them simply because of the girl, though. Remember in Episode II when he told Amidala that he didn't like the way the committee (I can't remember if it's the Federation, Confederation, Senate, wtf they are) did things? He said something about 'making' them do what's in the best interest of (whoever). And besides, after his mother died, he kinda went bonkers anyway. He said he wasn't strong enough to save her. I'm pretty sure there's a lot more that goes into him turning to the Dark Side than simply Amidala.

ROFL, I'm so sorry. I've been telling people not to say anything to me about it because I want to go in unbiased.
But is she telling the truth? Well, I guess we'll find out when we see the movie, but I find it hard to believe his transformation falls completely on Amidala. But then again... girls suck, so that could be more than a good reason. >_>

ZOMFG TWAS EXCELLENT!!!! only let downs were a bad bit of writting of the film (to do with grievous during the clone wars animated series) and the fact you knew who died and who didnt but altogether a great film.
WHY ARE YOU READING THIS AND NOT RUNNING TO TEH CINEMA?!!?!

Just saw it yesterday, actually. Although it wasn't the greatest of the series, it was not bad. I would, however, tell Hayden Christensen to take some of that money he made for the movie and get some better acting lessons. ¬_¬ But I did read Maddox's review about it today too...and I do agree with him in some elements...but for the most part, the movie wasn't too bad.

I thought this movie rocked balls. But then, I did watch it blazed, and that often does skew my opinions somewhat. I was surprised at how graphic it was, especially Anakin and Palpatine's tortures. I HUGELY disagree with Maddox on everything apart from the last 2 paragraphs. I`d write him hate mail... but we all know how that goes So Ancient, which was the best in the series?

Send Maddox hate mail? Maddox is like....my dream man. Anyway, I liked the older stuff of the series better. In particular, Return of the Jedi. My father practically forced me and ani to at least like Star Wars, for us to 'appreciate' his hero, Darth Vader. (He even has a Darth Vader mask. ) The newest stuff is okay...but the older stuff, in my opinion, is much better. I think I like the older stuff more because I hadn't had to be around the hype back then as much as I am now. I tend to have a dislike for highly hyped things. I didn't really like the first two Star Wars episodes (the newer ones), but the third one was probably the better of the three. But I have to say, I like Return of the Jedi the best out of any of the Star Wars movies. It had the Ewoks, too. ;D

"I love you, Anikin!" "LIAR!"
The dialogue was like a trainwreck full of diseased babies. General Grievous might as well have been a hand puppet. But the Yoda fight was cool, and the Anikin/ObiWon fight was great until they had the bright idea to fight in a lava river. And Anikin's angry tears just made me laugh. I guess it was entertaining, and that's all a movie should be.
And yes, I have always loved Return of the Jedi and the Emperor Strikes back. Back in Harrison Ford's hayday.
