Alright, I have to agree with SK when she said that she loved badasses (in some thread...I can't remember which one). I do as well. Do they attract you, or are the heroes of the story (the nice and 'innocent' ones) more your thing? What are your favorite evil or semi-evil guys?
Let's see...my favorite badass is probably Kuja (FFIX). He had the poetic form of insulting people, mostly intelligent in all of his plans, and he had the power to do almost anything and he knew it. Even though he showed his weakness (his fear of death), he still was a strong enough force to be a threat.
My second one would be Shannon (if he actually accounts for one...I think he does, in my opinion). Auraki made me see that I have a certain 'thing' for guys with ponytails...and unfortunately with Scrapped Princess I knew that she was right. I loved his 'I-don't-care-unless-you-try-to-come-near-my-sister' attitude and his general somber mood (unless talking to Pacifica).
I can post an entire list of my favorite ones, but I'm too lazy to type them all...but what about you?

This guy is a complete psycho flying around with MOMO clones and in a kewl mech. Couple that with his mad fighting skillz, white hair, and funky cape like clothing article and you get total pwnage.
Don't forget about his mad-doctor-ish laugh too!

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I KNEW it. I'm glad you admitted the love of ponytails. You denied it for quite a long time. ^_^
I actually made a written list of my favorite bad-asses a while ago....I think I'll post that here, along with a few revisions. Keep in mind, I wrote this...a while ago, and I might have a slightly altered opinion now, but it pretty much sums up what I like in a bad boy Bishie. I imagine I was also inhaling slightly toxic gas fumes while writing this. Please ignore the corniness:
Dilandau (Escaflowne)---If you know who Dilandau is and you have to ask why I like this guy, then you really don’t realize how deep my obsession runs for bad boys. This guy is evil and darn good at it. If he actually allowed himself to be tamed enough to go to high school, I think he would be voted “Guy most likely to laugh as he torches your village.” He loves to burn things, but then everybody’s gotta have a hobby, right?
Vegeta--- Well, let me see…handsome, evil, likes to crack jokes as he kills, has deeply-seeded issues that cause him to brood and push away everyone who tries to reach him…well, I’d say he pretty much fits all the criteria for a bad boy, which is why he is my absolute favorite. Vegeta is so complex, with such a potential for evil, he’s really balanced on a knife’s edge when it comes to being virtuous or malicious. I absolutely love the fact that he has such a short fuse—it really keeps you on your toes. This guy is a true bad boy, in every sense.
Vega—Vega of Street Fighter II: the animated movie has a tiny complex. Well, actually, he’s insane. He’s a narcissistic psychopath who wears a fucking awesome Jason mask and loves to kick ass. Any more questions about why I like him?
Trunks--- So why the “Mysterious Youth” of DBZ? There are a ton of reasons, and the fact that he is Vegeta’s son is definitely not low on my list. He’s unbelievably cute, whether he keeps his hair long or short, and has a sad, heart-wrenching past that just makes it so much easier to swoon over him. But why do I consider him a bad boy? Well, I know techinqually, he’s not, but I’d like to think of him as a bad-boy-in-training. He definitely got the potential from his father, and he does make quick work of the returning Frieza in the Trunks Saga. He also has a temper which gives him a plus in my bad boy book. EDIT: Yeah, yeah, I know "ARG, NOT DBZ AGAIN!" I was in my Dragonball Z phase. Sue me. ^^
Seifer—Okay, was it just me, or did you nearly faint when you saw Seifer in the opening scene of Final Fantasy 8? His beautiful mug, witty barbs, and fierce attitude was pretty much why I got up in the early hours of morning to play FF8. He’s a man out to pursue his own goals, and screw anyone trying to get in his way. If you have to take out a couple of old friends in the process, so what? Not quite evil, but he’s damned inconsiderate.
Akito (Fruits Basket)--The man might be sickly, but damn, he's rather pretty for a man. Oh yeah, and there is that whole violent psycotic outburst thing he has. He likes to blind people on a whim ad choke the living daylights out of little girls. Yes, feel the craziness.
Orochimaru (Naruto)--If a voice could melt butter, I would be a warm puddle on the floor. Even though he is ridiculously pale, I think he's as handsome as the devil. I tend to like my anime villians pretty, crazy, and remorseless.
So um yeah.....there is my starter list. I'm sure I'll have more to add later.

Hmm...I'm confused....wasn't I the one who played it for the both of us? I could have sworn putting at least three hours getting through Lunatic Pandora alone...stupid Mobile Type 8! *stabs FFVIII* Anyway, some more... Sesshoumaru (Inuyasha): Yeah, I had to mention him. At the beginning, I was just like, "Eh...he's okay, but he's not that great" to all of the rabid Inuyasha fans on my heels telling me that the demon lord was the shiznik. But after about ep 100 or so, that's when I really got into his character. He could basically slay an entire army in 4 seconds without even blinking an eye. Lu Bu (Dynasty Warriors): Yeah...in the beginning I thought he was just a bastard. But he actually began to grow on me. Even if he looks like a roach. Oh, and I absolutely agree with you, DigitalFire...I love Albedo because he's crazy. I remember fighting him in the game when he does some attack and says "It's over!" then kills off one of my characters. After I got angry at him K.O.ing the same character seconds after I've revived them, I cracked up. His insanity and the way he called MOMO 'ma peche' everytime was awesome. Laocorn (Fatal Fury the Movie): Excellent lines, that great sense of humor and a task that made him insane. Could you ask for more? |

My favourite bad charaters eh: well here goes Sephiroth : "WARNING SPOOLERS.......... thats if you have not played FF7  " He kills Aeris NUFF SAID. Revolver Ocelot (From MGS games): Damn guy fights you, tortures you, gets his arm cut off then he shoots you in MGS2 with his left hand, says "I like to reload" in battle..... what can I say Great badass. Akuma/Gouki: With the demon rage and kills Bison in a few seconds when he first appears in SSF2Turbo....yup pure evil he is. Orochimaru: the background music when he fights gives him enough justice (it's so errie and evil), he summons snakes and likes blood...yup major badass. staxx from soulseek: WHAT CAN I SAY ;D |

1. Sephiroth: I must *must* agree with staxx. Also, he has a beautiful way of mass murder. ;D His faith in his power is so awesome. He just *knew* he was better than everyone else.
Okay, this is where the list gets complicated. I hope I don't get stoned for this. My list changes so friggin' often.
2. Kuja *please refer to ST's reasons*
3. Vicious: OMG, HE'S SOOOOO COOL!!! He takes revenge to a whole new level. And man, if you can walk into a gun fight with a sword you're either crazy or hella confident, or both!!
4. Legato: He was just way too relaxed and cool. What a great bad guy!
5. Dilandou: One sentence (yes, ST, I had to say it) "BURN, BURN, EVERYTHING, BURN!!!!"
6. Sesshoumaru: He's the only one I know that can still whipasss effortlessly WITH ONE ARM.
6.5. Neji... wait, does he count?
7. I have to agree with Auraki: Vega. Hey. he's a crazy, mask-wearing (he's actually hot underneath that mask) Spainard. *sigh* Gotta love the Spainards.
8. And um... Sparks from Sealab 2021... cuz he likes money.

I remember the first time I played Huo Lao Gate and he challenged me. I fought him, and got my ass whooped. After that, he stood inside the gate and was like, "Whazzup? Start running!" Then I figured out how to beat him, so he's not a problem anymore. ;D He could actually be pretty hot...if he lost that stupid roach hat. |
