Anime...the "Moral Decay" of the USA.

This is an old thing (created in 2002), apparently, but recently I got hold of this petiton telling people that anime should be banned in America and that anyone in possession of it should be arrested.

Apparently, this guy thinks that "anime is a perverse, evil, insiduous form of animation from the dark land of Japan, and is corrupting America's youth at unprecedented rates." What a bunch of crap. This is ridiculous.

First of all, anime is not aimed solely for the children. A lot of teenagers and adults watch it, most likely they're the main group of anime fanatics. But banning it for saying that it's messing up the minds of the youth? Yeah right.

Yeah, I agree with Dio. The guy has to be joking; I get that vibe from reading it. "As a resonsible Christian" this guy seems to be mocking what others say about anime, and the whole thing about jailing anime "offenders' is not something a sane person would say to the president.
