Now I have most of the sections covered, but I'll need a moderator for our Fanfiction section and the small section of Members' Games (EDIT: Members' Games have merged with The Gaming Dungeon, so we no longer have that section avalible). If you would like to be one, please apply here. As a moderator, you will need to:
1.) Establish order within your particular section, as well as others. You will be in charge of your own section, but if you are visiting another moderator's section and see a problem, I expect you to jump in and help fix it. But just keep mind that the other moderators will be almost fully in charge of the forum.
2.) Create and maintain a good example for other members. If you do not follow the rules of the forum, then you will be removed from the position.
3.) Post absence notes in the appropriate section. This lets other members and moderators as well as myself know when you will not be avalible to handle your section. You may also nominate other mods to take over until you return.
4.) Have good judgement when editing/removing posts and suspending/banning members. I will not tolerate members being banned or suspended by calling you names or insults if it is a first offense. This does not mean you have to stand there and take it...Just remind them that they are traveling down the wrong road if they wish to stay a member on this forum. The members have 3 warnings before they are suspended, and three more warnings before they are banned if they continue ignoring rules after their suspension. Any power-hungry mods will be removed.
Those are all of the basic jobs that moderators need to do. Here is the information you will need to post if you would like to apply:
