Iris slowed to a jog as she neared the edge of the deepest part of the forest. She sighed heavily. Not that she wanted to go to another town or anything but she was feeling slightly uncomfortable in this forest. It was something she hadn't felt before so she brushed it off as nerves. Frowning she began her way down a steep hill. She was slightly surprised that Tabix and Norikazu were able to stay on her the entire time. She lifted her head to look at the couple on her back. They seemed all right but Tabix was glaring at something to the far right of her. It couldn't be.... No, she tought, it isn't. She shook it off as drunken nonsense. She would have known if something bad was following them.
A couple more minutes she was at the bottom of the hill, next to a large shallow stream. Maybe this will be a nice stopping place for a few minutes, after all she had ran a bunch of miles non stop. She was sure that the hill accross the stream would be the last object before the town. She looked back at Tabix and Norikazu and mewed.

Night was falling over the woods yet again. It might be two more days before Anubis made it to town. He found a tiny clearing and started a fire on the ground, took out some of the meet from the dear he had scored earlier, and began to smoke it. He would smoke enough to last him untill he got to town, the rest he would leave for some creature to be welcomed by a free buffet. While sitting on a rock, looking at the sky above, he watched the stars with a troubled mind It will come soon...im not sure when, or where One of the stars twinkled, and the pendant he was hiding began to tremble again. The cat he had seen would probably be three quarters of the way to town by now...if not there already. Tomorrow he would arrive, after he played around with a new ability. But for now he must rest. Putting the meat away and extuingishing the fire, he spawled out amonst a fallen log and rest his head on a small rock. He conjured a small sprite, which took the shape of a bird, to keep watch over him while he slept.

[glow=blue,4,300]Hehe, were you all waiting on me? [/glow]
After her warm bath and usual morning talk with Ailoki she prepared herself for a the new day. The sun barely peeked over the horizon and she smiled to herself. The town was still on the outside, but underneath her she could hear the flurry of movement.
Dragging her fingertips along the hilt of her sword, Shadow paused allowing her eyelids to close slowly. She felt a presence, someone new. Someone remarkably strong. She headed toward the solid wood door, with deliberate but silent steps. She felt as if someone was summoning her and she had no choice but to answer.
Who is this person?
Making her way to the bottom of the stairs, she wasted no time focusing on the one who attracted her undivided attention: B'luthol. She had undoubtedly heard of him before.
She watched, silently entranced, drunk with the feeling of his power rivaling hers. He rather calmly excused two people from their table and sat satified in their place. She smiled, overhearing his rather strange request for a morning meal and decided, regardless of how dangerous the idea was, to enjoy her morning meal with him.
Stopping the waittress for the same meal before taking a seat across from him. Had he summoned her there? She could barely tell but she knew he meant no harm at the moment. Regardless of her impaired judgement, Ailoki would have been able to detect danger and break her from her trance.
Pushing her hood back from over her face, Shadow met B'luthol's eyes and offered a somewhat playful smile. She was curious but knew instantly his indirect connection to her. Before he had a chance to ask her a question, she spoke confidently:
"You're B'luthol," Her voice was soft and she closed her eyes for a moment as she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. "I can tell you have a faint connection to Arya." She smirked, nearly scoffed at his involvement with her cousin. "I'm sure it's only curiosity with you since you are don't seem the slightest bit interested in the petty fued she has with me." Shadow was sure his contact with Arya made him very aware of the strange obsession Arya had for her. If not, it would be easier for Shadow to use it to her advantage. "Judging from how light you travel, I wouldn't be surprised if you were a wanderer or even a Ranger of some sort."
As the waitress placed their tea and crumpets in front of them she smiled again. Her lavendar eyes watched carefully for a change in his expression. His golden eyes could possibly be quite deceiving.
"Is there a reason why you are here, Lord B'luthol?" Shadow's eyebrow raised as she spoke just above a whisper.
In the back of her mind, she sensed trouble with the others. Growling inwardly, she scratched Ailoki's side and heard him hum in agreement. There were others following the Calm and two humans. Whatever it was, the sense of urgency did not seem to be as great as her curiosity for B'luthol's presence.
They should be able to hold their own. Ailoki mentioned crawling to her shoulder and settled his head on her collar bone.

At some point in time Iris had taken Tabix and Norikazu back up and took off to the town. The closer she got the stronger the familiar smell of burnt flesh and animal waste. Yeah, she knew this town well. These people were the friendliest people towards animals... domestic animals to be truthful. She stopped just before the gate and let the two humans off her back. They stared at her for a while before getting the hint and going into the city. She puffed up her chest before following after them. This, is going to be a long day...
Iris had been following Tabix and Norikazu like a trained pet in the new town for what seemd like hours. They had reached it a little bit earlier than she had thought they had, she could accept that, but she had never imagined any of the things they forced her to do. She wanted to scream, leave them on their own but this town was not friendly towards animals that were so called "wild", and a Calm was considered "wild."
She yawned a bit casting her gaze to the sky. Where had the day gone? She had attempted to recontect to her clan but the connection had been gone too long for her to connect at the distance they were without any help. She longed for them in her dreams in the beginning and could remember ever detail of every member, but now she could barely remember what they felt like.
If I stay like this, only death awaits me.

After the feast Arya awoke to a beautiful day. Being evil did not constitute as blind to beauty. Arya thought to herself what this war was really about. It wasn't just about her and her urge to kill Shadow to feel a sense of vengeance complete, but more a sense of equality. Good vs. Evil to the max. That damn good ruler of theirs started the war against evil... I am merely finishing it. I'm not saying that there wouldn't be some uneventful killing sprees. It's simple,... follow the rules and live.. or be stupid and get killed. Maybe if some rulers wouldn't screw up so badly I wouldn't be so evil. (Now away from the fact that Arya still has a little bit of a soul left...) Arya yelled down the hall! [glow=red,2,300]Where the hell is B'luthol? And where the hell is my second in command?[/glow] Today training started for all in her fortress. Security was maxed out. No one would be able to enter undetected. Arya motioned to her little servanty guy who was dressed as a warrior yet couldn't have been more than 17. [glow=red,2,300]Boy! Would you please wake Reiko and tell her that she or someone good needs to find the Calm.. and learn of what they are doing.. who is in their group and other such things about them without being detected. Would you also get someone to find Sahn and tell her to do the same, but for Shadow. And where the hell is B'luthol!?[/glow]
After sending the boy off Arya knew that he probably wouldn't get the message right. So she gave the message to Reiko and Sahn through their minds. Arya also let B'luthol know that she was looking for him! B'luthol would be used for some coert missions.
With all this in mind... Arya took control of some poor souls mind in the same area as B'luthol and had him whack B'luthol upside the head. Arya was sure he would be a bit pissed with her, but she wanted to get his attention. What better way to get him to notice her. ;D Arya felt much better having done this... and went to the kitchen to eat. A BBQ chicken omelette sounded really good right about now.

B'luth'ol inclined his head slightly to the woman in front of him. He chuckles slightly at the absurdity of the question. He doesn't require reasons for his actions and he would never be fool enough to consider odds. He pulls a dagger from his belt and dances it slowly across his fingers. He notices the eyes of a person across the room following motion behind him. He stares directly into her eyes and whips the dagger across the room at the person watching him. In the same motion he rises from his seat and draws his sword using the curved edge to remove the head from the shoulders of the person behind him. He notices the arm raised as if to smack him.
He glances back to his visitor.
I do not require reasons for my actions.
With deliberate ease he cleans his blade on the tunic of the felled man and replaces his sword in its scabbard.
Tough bit of luck I would say. If only they had been smart enough to just leave me be. He totally ruined the atmosphere.
B'luth'ol looks to his tea and can see the heat slowly leaving his drink. Upset he walks across the room to retrieve his dagger which was embedded in between the man's eyes. He lifts the chin of the dead man and speaks softly into his ear.
Maybe now you will understand the value of privacy.
He turns to face the quivering man behind the bar.
Innkeeper I desire more tea.
With that he sits back down and returns his attention to his guest.
You know of me....intriguing... tell me what is your name?
B'luth'ol leans back in his chair never removing his eyes from hers.

Tossing the messenger boy out of her room for disrupting her slumber, Reiko ventured to the washroom for her morning shower. Moments after she got dressed, Arya summoned her with her powers and gave her the order to investigate the Calm's source and origins with Sahn.
'What am I, Sahn's partner in crime?' Reiko thought bitterly as she pulled on her boots. 'I can't stand that dark priestess, let alone work with her. She's too unpredictable.'
But orders were orders. And Reiko left the palace to complete her task.

O'nale followed the two humans and the Calm untill they arrived at a town where he had been when he was little. Although he sensed a strange kind of danger from these people he still became curious what they were up to.
When he looked closer he noticed they all had valuable items for his journey. Only for the pirate woman who looked like the most agressive one of the group had nothing on her. The Calm looked to dangerous to pickpocket so the only option was the blonde dude.
When he walked towards him silently he felt that he felt attracted to these people. He saw a surtain positive arau flowing around them. Like they had a important mission.
Why O'nale got scared he didn't knew, the one thing he could feel was that this was a sign. He was willing too follow this group untill his death.

Her ears twitch back and forth in irritation. They had been walking for what seemed like hours. Yet everytime she turn to glance behind her, the edge of the village could still be seen. There were too many smells her, too many people crowded into a small space. She glanced back again noticing something similar about the place around them. She searched, using all her senses until she found it. A young man following behind them. She shook her head and figured she was just over reacting but when she glanced back the next time he was closer. He wore a strange expression in his eyes.
Iris knew if she opened her mouth to say anything it would be over for all three of them. So she tried to do the next best thing. She nudged the back of NOrikazu's head.

"Shadow," She replied with a downward glance to the fallen man. An eyebrow raised in mild interest then offered a slight smile. "Of course I know of you--you have quite the reputation." She took a sip of her tea, savoring its warmth then added: "I wasn't expecting you to be affiliated with Arya in any way. I'm sure you know of the quarrel between us."
Shadow felt a change in the air, almost like a sense of urgency. Ailoki wrapped his tail loosely around her neck and craned his neck to get a look around. It was most likely the group she previously abandoned would be entering into trouble.
With her conscience getting the best of her, she set a few coins on the table and smiled at B'luth'ol. "It seems a few of my companions are going to be in trouble soon." She stood up, pulled the hood of her cloak over her head then bowed slightly. "It was a pleasure having breakfast with you, Lord B'luth'ol. Perhaps we can continue our conversation at a more opportune time."
Ailoki nestled into her hood with no comment, which was odd for him. Shadow left the inn heading in the direction of the neighboring town. She knew there would be trouble simply because Sahn was looking for her and the last people seen around Shadow were the people who now wandered without her.
