Rules Alright, this is a roleplaying game. Anyone is free to join, but all that I ask is that you write at least one or two paragraphs (with the minimum of 8 sentences) and put a little effort into your writing. This doesn’t mean that you must have perfect grammar or long, complex sentences…it just means that you won’t write something like, “Betty fired. She hit. She danced. She…etc.” Descriptions: At the start, please post a brief description of your character. Such as their appearance, their weapons, special skills, and any other information that you want others to know about your character. Some people will give more detailed descriptions than others, but don’t let that stop you from joining. Just give enough information about your player so that others can get a good feel and image of your character. Sides: We’re going to need some evil and some righteous characters, so specify your side in your descriptions. If there are not enough people to balance out the sides, then I’ll assign people to it, starting with myself. If there’s only one person over a side, I’ll switch my character to the good side or dark side. The sides will act as a group, so the characters will be together in the beginning. The players can wander off at their own accord, but will stay together into the beginning. We’ll need main heroes and main villains. They won’t be in charge, but they will strongly determine the turn of the story. Fights: In this game, I’m going to use dice. When your character gets into a fight with another character, then I’m going to step in, assign 3 numbers to each person (if there are two characters, more than 2, I will divide the numbers accordingly). This is to avoid roleplaying like this: "Player 1 launches a fatal attack."
"Player 2 dodges and stabs Player 1"
"Player 1 dodges and does mega-ultimate-undodgable-attack!"
"Player 2 steps out of the way of Player 1's mega-ultimate-undodgable-attack."While your character is free to fight with anyone on the opposite side, I don’t expect anyone to die until the story reaches its climax. Your character can win battles and get personal experience based off of you. If you win the roll, you can write the other character’s defeat the way you want to, but don’t kill them. You can injure them reasonably (expecting that you don’t do something like paralyze them from the waist down or something), but no fatal attacks until the story truly calls for it. Alright…those are the rules to this RPG. I’ll start off: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character Name: Reiko Tanami Class: Warrior Side: Evil (top-henchman to the main villain(s)) Appearance: Black hair; green eyes; height: 5’7”; weight: Around 145; apparel: navy blue fitted coat and matching slacks. Weapon: longsword, weapon name: Ange Ara; weapon appearance: Clear blade of strong sharpened glass (which is breakable, but made of tough material that can be reforged by the best of blacksmiths (or glassblowers)) with a wooden hilt, carved as a beaded handle (painted a deep violet) and a red horsehair tassle. SOME of Reiko's Special Skills: Sword magic: - Chain Lightning-- Elemental based attack where Reiko sticks sword in ground and summons a shower of electricity.
- Inferno Shield--Flame sheild that has a good chance to block most basic magic.
- Haste Strike-- Wind magic that cuts enemies at a distance.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- (Evil side) Night was falling over the skies and the clouds were forming together into a dark blanket in the sky. Perfect for the plan at hand. It was an easy task, really. The group wouldn’t even know what hit them. Her master wished for them to know his/her true power, what he/she could do. She had to get that point across to them. The best action was to strike in one swift blow before they could counter-attack and devastate them all. Through her, her master’s name would be feared, since they all believed that they could even attempt to reach his/her level. Her feet moved almost silently as she watched the cluster of people at the bottom of the ridge. In a few moments, she would attack.

Awww, I'm going to try and get this, you know how slow I am. And I wanted the baddie side, damn you, ST. Those of you who know me... might find my character a bit familiar even though I changed some things. ;D
Character Name: The Shadow - Her entire name is unknown, her last name is Aleanathem (The noble Line of the Dragons) which is a branch of the Aleanraheal family.
Class: Draconian Assassin
Side: (Do I *have* to pick one?) Righteous
Appearance: Roughly 6'0" with thin frame. Curly raven hair to her thighs that fall over glowing lavendar eyes. In her pointed (but not enormous) ear, are several earrings connected by a silver interlocking chain. She wears all black underneath the long black form-fitting cloak trimmed in glittering silver with the hood normally pulled over her face. Around her neck is a small vial of souls of her loved ones (that died in combat) that can be used for protection.
Weapon(s): One long sword that has a faint purplish tint, made of pure magic (it is said that it "hums" when used in battle. Weapon name: Rei. Hilt made of steel and wrapped in scarlet cloth. She has various daggers hidden amongst her clothing. And a small black dragon that accompanies her on her travels.
Special skills: Pyrokinesis (you didn't think I'd not mention fire?)
Um... a Draconian is a race that I created. They have companions/familiars (most often small dragons). They are distant relatives of Elves, with heightened senses and in times of extreme danger, the can merge to take on the form of their companion for a boost of power, but this attack is only a last resort since it takes most of the char's energy. Any questions, feel free to ask me.
<:_.-*-._:><:_.-*-._:><:_.-*-._:><:_.-*-._:>
(More or less) Righteous side: With the darkness comes comfort, Shadow thought as she gazed into the darkening sky and smiled. It was the first time in months that she didn't have an assignment.
She ignored the crowd flowing around her. They were rather uneasy in the presence of an Draconian who carried a sword. They did not have the greatest reputation for mercy even over something as minor as spilled wine.
Her companion, a black dragon, Ailoki, emerged from her hood and settled on her left shoulder with a warning: It isn't time to relax just yet. Gently scratching the dragon's chin she could feel the presence of another with strength nearby. Her sharp canines sparkled as she stepped back into the shadow of a nearby building.
[glow=blue,4,300]Tell me, ST, was that too much???[/glow]

Oh, I forgot to say how Calm die. When they die they usually turn into trees or a patch of grass, Calm can be called back from the dead. If a Calm dies in battle and the leader is still alive then that calm will continue to fight until the leader commands it otherwise.
……………………
She waited in the back of everyone, sitting calmly on her hunches, alert more than ever. She had been summoned from her clan to see if she was worth fighting with the most power beings in this world for one thing… a disturbance in the balance of life. She pulled back her lips in a sudden snarl, showing off huge razor sharp teeth warning people to stay their distance as they passed her. Today was not a good day to meet, she thought, her three tails twitching in annoyance.

"You want a peice of me?!" The short woman stands up, pulling out the huge sword that had been sitting beside her, looking up at the man in front of her who had spilled her beer. The locals in the bar knew what was coming and froze to stare. "Sure I want a piece of you..." The drunk man makes a grab at the woman who easilly dodges his advance, whips her sword around and cuts the man's reaching arm off. As the man falls to his knees screaming in agony, Tabix pays for her drink, steps over the bleeding man and stalks out the door.
Bring it on!!!

Character Name: Sahn Vihaleu
Class: Warrior Priestess
Side: Evil
Appearance: has straight, pale blue hair partially pulled back in the front; her face is very angular and her narrow gray eyes, outlined in kohl, will grow luminescent when she is angry or perturbed; height 5’6” and weight: 125; wears a one strapped light gray top and matching short, angled skirt with tight leggings underneath; black knee-high boots; she has a single-jewel chained diadem on her forehead, and beneath her left eye is a Celtic-looking tribal tattoo in blue ink.
Weapon: Twin short swords that can be used separately or combined into one double-edged sword; can also be hooked together to form a double-ended sword. weapon name: Akrahn; silver hilts have serpents wrapped around it, and the blade has been blessed so that it can affect the tides and the flow & force of water; sometimes it can draw lightening from the sky during a thunderstorm to add an extra charge of magic to the strike.
Special Skills: Sahn is possessed by a demoness that caused her holy order to cast her out. The demon can be summoned once she is angry enough, but there are times where she can’t control it’s summoning. The demon has mostly physical skill, and though it has increased strength and agility, it drains Sahn’s power quickly and has her physical stamina. She is also incoherent when in demon form.
Special Attacks:
Hurricane Blitz – A sudden whirlwind attack that can only be done when water is nearby. Water is drawn to the blade and expelled forcefully when the blade is spun rapidly. Used to push the enemy back and inflict minor damage.
Divine Tears – A summoning of torrential downpours that can affect terrain; can only last for a short duration of time.
Ice Needles – An attack that turns a shower of water into ice. Can be used with the Hurricane Blitz to inflict major damage, or with time-consuming concentration, can create a large shard of ice for impaling.
Camouflage – A liquid magic sprung from her sword Akrahn that coats her body renders her invisible to the naked eye. Only her pale eyes can be seen. Strong magic users can usually see through this ploy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
(Evil side)
Sahn peered out from the darkness of the shadows, dangerously close to the oblivious group of people. She was looking for a presence, the trace of evil she had been tracking for a while now. She wasn’t too keen on joining the group and exposing herself, but she needed to find the source of this power humming on the edge of her mind. It made the beast within her restless. She could already feel it growling in her mind, with a bloodlust that made it difficult to concentrate. She didn’t really care about the people in front of her; she had long gotten use to letting the beast have its way when it was agitated. But she didn’t want to scare off the presence she felt, or call unnecessary attention to herself.
They were not near water, so her weapons would be nothing more than twin swords without magic to empower them. Would she be able to hold off a strong opponent that way? It had been a while since she had been thoroughly challenged, and this being she sensed held definite promise. She would wait. She hoped her patience would be worth it.

Name --> Arya Aleanraheal (last name means "the noble line of gods")
Class --> A dark elf, Royalty and a former commander of the Korrah Dark Forces. (Korrah means black beasts)
Side --> Evil! The head bitch of all evil that will not hesitate to destroy anything and everything. The Evil that all fear in their dark nightmares that eats away at their mind and tortures their soul.
Appearance --> Light purple skin. Dark eyes that long to kill. Her eyes are lined with dark black thick lines. She has long blonde hair down to her lower back, and her hair has streaks of silver in it, while her bangs come to below her chin. She has many piercings. Her long elf ears have 3 piercings in each earlobe, 2 in the right cartlidge and 1 in the left cartlidge. She also has her eyebrow, tongue, nose, and belly button pierced. Her left inner wrist is branded with the family crest, and her right inner wrist is branded with the mark that only members of the Korrah Dark Forces have. This mark can only be attained by killing an insanely large amount of people in cruel and torturous ways. She is 5'2" with plenty of power weighing in at 120 pounds. She wears a black leather outfit that is adorned with metals and spikes. The outfit hugs her and shows off her muscles. She wears black leather pants that go into her boots, these too are black and come to just above her knees and lace up. Over her outfit she wears a black trenchcoat type jacket. It comes to her calves and is studded with spikes along the bottom. The back of the jacket has a corset made into it and has many hidden secrets yet to reveal. Standing to the height of her shoulder is her Dire Wolf. An incredible killing machine named Mailihn (it means Death Bolt). And yes.. she needed this much detail, so that the "righteous" may know what she looks like, because they won't even see her coming till their dead.
Weapon --> She carries a silent bow and arrow, and also a moon sword. There are some occasional throwing stars and random fun torture trinkets.
Special Skills --> She has two sets of eyelids. Alligators have a second eyelid that is kind of creamy for when they are under water. Well her second set blinks horizontally and if you see it then you won't survive. It's the blink of death. There are some nice ideas behind it that you will find out when I kill you. As for the rest of my "skills" you will have to wait till we fight to see them. *wink wink BLINK*
********************************************
Night had completely fallen now and the flow of people had begun to stop as their victory celebration came to a start. Their leader who sickened Arya to look upon was having a victory party. Why she didn't know, because his/her followers had barely made it out of their last battle alive. No matter, they would soon all be dead.
Arya looked around and quickly motioned to her #1 (head henchman) that the attack would begin within a matter of minutes. Beyond the treeline lay 3,000 armed, blood thirsty criminals that awaited the order to attack. These criminals had been once been exiled or emprisoned by the "righteous" ruler.
The rain began and slowly became heavier. Arya loved to fight in the rain, because as the rain hit her sword it began to *ting*(metal sound). She withdrew her moon sword as the moon shone through it. Her vicious army waited to slaughter the masses, while making sure to leave the one they called Shadow to be annihilated by Arya.
Arya signaled to her #1, and they began to slowly descend the ridge to murder the bastards below that awaited a painful and bloody death. Mailihn with teeth glazed by the light of the moon creeped down at a steady pace, ready for the fresh taste of blood...

"Iris." the Leader spoke with several different voices. Her ears perked up. "We have no time to pick. You must leave now."
"But..."
Obey the Calm. They come forth soon, find the Shadow. Obey it. She paused to consider what Leader meant by shadowthe then threw back her head, two harmonious voices echoed through out the land in a mind numbing tone. The ground shook in response to her death call. Thousands of screaches filled the air in response. She smirked slightly. The fools won't know what to do with themselves... when the dead come. With that she took off towards the awaiting battle field.

It had started to rain, and that gave Reiko an idea.
As she and her master decended to the enemy camp below, she chanted a spell, making the clouds part as lightning split the sky. The warrior then directed the electrical currents downwards....straight into the group of people below them as the pair decended.
Vaguely, she recalled that Sahn had left them earlier, murmuring some ridiculous statement about how her blood beast was talking to her. The dark priestess was strange and never really fought beside her, rather preferring to lurk about in the shadows. Hopefully, Sahn had enough warning when the thunder spell had been chanted and moved away temporarily.
The group below had split up, due to attempting to avoid the short rain of lightning that had come upon them, making it even easier for the three of them to pick their enemies off....

It seems I can never enjoy a free night... Shadow touched her dragon's mind with a hint of humor. His forked tongue waved next to her face as he hissed in agreement.
It had always been like this, one night after another, something new to do, someone new and foolish to maim or kill.
Lightning flashed overhead, followed by the thick smell of rain. The scent was polluted with the feel of manipulation, a skill no one in the camp could attain. When the thunder followed within seconds, she knew there was danger ahead. The creator of the storm was close by... in fact... she could feel their presence.
They were there, in the camp. The humans bustling around her were to oblivious to notice the change in the atmosphere, the vibrant humming of the others' power. She smirked, the fools were celebrating their victory against evil yet underestimated Evil's ability to regroup and retaliate.
Ailoki chirped uneasily when she shrugged, she was off contract. The following events did not concern her any longer.
You will allow them to bask in ignorance while you know of their demise? Ailoki questioned, not surprised by her nonchalance, but more for his own entertainment. Being kinetically linked to her made it easy for him to get used to her strange behavior. He knew in her subconciously she always chose good over evil, but the power of money made her clever in her assignments. She did not respond, as he assumed correctly.
Something was different, it tugged at her gut, making her irritatingly anxious. Another presence, different from the others. Who was it?
Emerging from the shadows of the building, she walked in the center of the crowd of wild people. The lightning did not seem to deter them from celebrating and it didn't bother her. Get high, Loki. I need you to see the perimeter of the camp. Tell me what you find.
He was in the air before she managed to gaze upward. Raising her hands to the silver lined hood of her cloak to pull it further over her face, she heading to the northern end of the noisy camp.
The camp was suddenly in mayhem as lightning began to rain upon them, electrocuted the unfortunate souls that happened to be in the way. There were shouts from neighboring commanders to round up their soldiers, but the shouts were useless. Chaos had grabbed hold of the panic-prone beings.
There should be no surprise as to who it is, Shadow.
Where are they? She questioned, reaching a barracade where the ground was elevated enough to get a good look over the camp.
Two groups... they've split. She barely saw his onyx silhouette against the periodically darkened sky.
Arya Aleanraheal, once again, was on a quest to quench her insatiable taste for blood and carnage.

Tabix saw the first strike on the army from where she was camped. She tended to spend her nights out in the open, usually because she had been kicked out of the local inn for causing "trouble". The lightning lit up the sky and made her surroundings quite clear, she was about 500 ft away on a ledge overlooking the encampment. Tabix had been following the army now for about a week; armies always carried to much alcohol for their numbers, and no one ever noticed the extra soldier in their midst, woman or not. Tabix knew that the lightning attack was magically influenced and even she was not one to go openly against a mage, but now would be the perfect time to take anything of value that may have been hidden in the camp, while the officers were running around barking orders to scared soldiers. Ignoring the Standing up and strapping her sword to her backand staying in the shadows, Tabix sauntered toward the camp.

Damnit, the impatience bitch. Sahn’s fury over not finding the source of the unknown power in time translated into the glow of her luminescent eyes. She watched the group scatter as lightening cracked and burned the earth. Her blood demon was raging now, the chaos and screaming like a sweet lullaby calling to the most primal part of herself. Of course, Sahn hated the thing with all her being but…it had been with her so long, it had become a part of her now. The High Priestess of her order, a woman who had raised her from infancy and taught her to become the skilled warrior she was now, had branded her a lost cause. Sahn had held a dear place in her heart, and the woman could not bring herself to kill her adoptive daughter.
That time was far behind her now. She had outlived the High Priestess, because her demon counterpart stopped her from aging and increased her healing capabilities. Where the High Priestess had once taught her to be kind and compassionate even as a warrior, the demon in her taught her the thrill and lust of battle and blood. She no longer fought for the good cause because she was tainted. She could never go back.
She allowed the substance of her invisibility to wash away under the heavy rain pouring from the sky. The rain had soaked her gray clothes to a dark color, but the light material they were made from kept them from becoming burdensome. The rain may have been her doing; her moods sometimes brought about magic without her knowing it. Yet another discipline lost from the old days of righteousness.
Maybe Arya’s impatience was not as bad as she once thought. She still had the element of surprise on her side since none were truly aware of her presence yet. Sahn unsheathed her twin swords from the single scabbard on her back. She could easily move among them now without fear of being suspicious. To her annoyance, she felt the beast growl through her own mouth, and at that moment she knew she would have to spill some blood just to keep it tame. Her pale blue hair had come loose from its tie and hung to her shoulders in thick wet locks, and she was aware that her eyes were probably glowing a bright moonlight silver. She could feel her blades resonating with power as water fell upon them. She would shock the hell out of all who saw her.

Lightening flashed through the sky suddenly. She lifted her nose to the air as she ran. It's not a storm... For some reason she could feel it, the evil, and it was as thick as the ground she ran upon. We are getting close. Suddenly the screaches became louder. She let out one long out of tune cry with her two voice before letting the dead take over. They gathered like black liquid picking her up and rushing her towards the fight. Kill the evil, kill the evil, they chanted. To any other being it would sound like high pitch screaching, out of tune and painful. She just caught sight of the group running around like they were on fire just. Right in her path were the figures of things emmitting such evil. They were advancing on the group of dumbies she was to fight with. She saw a pair of glowing eyes just before she lost her own conscious.
They moved like waves over the tree tops rushing towards the camp at a faster speed, sucking up all life that defied their leaders will. They were blacker than the darkness of the skies, and radiated an intense desire. The more fear, the more evil, the more excited they got, the more hunger they had. Forming one giant beast it let out one terrifyingly deep call before returning to their liquid-like state.

"What the..." Just as Tabix was nearing the burning campsite she began to hear a far off wailing that was growing louder and more screachingly painful. Standing in a ready position with her sword in fron of her, trying to ignore the the pain, Tabix felt the ground shake as if something was hurteling towards her. Quickly coming to her senses, she jumped out of the way as a huge black cloud poured down the mountain where she had just been standing. It carried the sound with it. Now Tabix was really curious, and although she usually would have ignored and steered clear of magic users, thinking they were odd with all their mystical mumbo jumbo, she instead ran after the thing hoping it might lead her to a good fight...

(NOTE: Just remember, no one can be *truly* invincible here...but you can be damned hard to kill. ;D)
Reiko smiled as Ange Ara slashed through a man who was foolish enough to attack after she had stepped foot inside the camp. "Morons. You'd think they'd be impressed by a thunder attack and they treat it like a mere light show." She shook her head in disgust.
Chaos was clearly present in the area, but at least the group was split up to take the workload off of her. The warrior had noted that some of the group had fled into the forest surrounding their camp, and that was where she was headed next.
No one would escape her master tonight.
That was an order.

What in Hell's name...
This was definitely more chaos than Sahn was expecting. One moment she was running into the midst of screaming idiots, and the next she was surround by some mass, some dark inky force that was devouring the land around her and sucking the life from it. Was it evil? It didn't feel like it. Instead it had the distinct feeling of other.
Her well-honed battled instincts had her hooking her swords together by the ends and raising them high above her head before she could even think the thought coherently. She gathered the energy of the rainwater to her blades, and then, with graceful movements, she begun a series of quick pirouettes on her toes as she spun the swords even faster above her head. She felt her water laden blades grow heavy, which she knew meant that they were ready to execute her defensive attack.
With a cry, she released all of the energy from Akhran in an outward spiral, beating back the dark mass seething around her with the force of water magic. It allowed her a significant radius in which to travel for the time being. She would do this attack as many times as she need to get through the crowd, but she had a feeling that maybe the source of this dark force was the being she had been looking for.
She thought of the objective Mistress Arya has set for them all. They were to destroy the people below, but that objective had always been second in her mind. She paused to concentrate for a moment, and then, like knife blade in her mind, she felt the presence again. She opened her glowing eyes and smiled. She finally knew where the power lay.
