What is your opinion? I know a few people who don't like it, and a lot of them who do. I loved this anime when I was watching it. The settings, characters, simple while also detailed (did that make sense?  ) animation were the things that kept me watching it. My favorite characters from it are Aoshi, Kenshin, and Sanosuke. Hiko is also up there too. All have a silly but serious side to them (er...discluding Aoshi), and that's right up my alley. Thoughts? Opinions? |

I like how all the good guys have potential for evil. Not one of them is completely and totally innocent. I think the series was excellent, and I enjoyed it immensely, but it really fell off in my opinion after the Shishio story arc. The whole Christian chick thing sort of annoyed me. But the music was awesome, the characters interesting, and I was very glad I saw it. As for people liking and disliking it, I know a lot of people who don't like the series actually love the OVAs. The OVAs are so much more serious and heartwrenching; they are on a completely different level than the series. Still, I love all of Kenshin, even the movie...but only subbed. I actually think Kenshin's woman voice fits him very well.  |

The OVAs kicked ass!! All three of them!! But the ending sucked!!!!! Arg!! Borrowed it all from a friend, took forever to watch, it was awesome and then...the ending sucked...!!!!!

Yes. Rurouni Kenshin was good. There are a few things in it that needed work.
Auarki said it best. The whole Shougo arc was pretty much pointless. Could have done without it.
Have all the ovas and they're all good. Great anime.

Kenshin is definetly a classic everyone who calls themself an anime lover should have to watch it .
Probably what made me love anime. Although much different from Samurai X (another great) extremely good. I watch any anime that spins off from it , Peace Maker Kurogane was cool just seein Saitou in Shinsenguni garb again. (even if he was completely different in character) Hijikata seemed more rk saitouish ..... : P
