Here at DOA: Graphic Connection, we want you to have fun exploring the 1st Ammendment. However, there are some restrictions to this rule:
1.) No spamming up the threads (unless you're in the "GT & Intro", "Chaos" Board, or "Trivia" threads). Spamming is classified as: adding post that are irrelevent to and deviate from the original topic or double posting (a series of obnoxious posting with low quality content usually made to increase your stat's number of posts). Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a warning. 3 warns from me or any other mods means you've struck out and are going to be suspended for 2 days. 3 more offenses mean you're to be banned from here. Hopefully, that doesn't happen. (EDIT: This will be more strictly enforced once we get more members)
2.) Grammar. While grammar is not number one on our list of good posts, we expect you to be able to convey what you mean to the other members. Please be respectful to those who do not speak English as a primary language. As long as you can get the message across, it is a good post.
3.) No deliberate insults. Feel free to debate with anyone. But please make sure you insult their posts WHILE SUPPLYING REASONS TO, rather than insult their character. Example of this:
Good post: "I disagree with what you posted. One reason is that..."
Bad Post: "Your opinion is stupid because you are stupid."
Please be respectful to others. While we don't expect you to agree with others (or to be particularly nice all of the time), we do expect you to practice some form of proper behavior. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
4.) Signatures: Sig lengths as text should be 7 or 8 lines long. If it's an interesting sig (or makes me laugh my ass off), I'll be more leinent. Pic sizes vary, but should not exceed 350 in length, and should not be long enough to stretch out the format. I don't want people's sigs taking up half of the screen. If it is violating this rule, it will be removed by the staff.
5.) Avatars/Icons: Icons here should be 100x100 at the max. If you don't have one of that size or don't know where you can get one, ask someone in the Signature/Avatar Workshop thread, and hopefully someone will be nice enough to make it for you.
6.) Do not make any duplicate/new accounts if banned or suspended from the site. As the rule states. We put you in time-out for a reason. Deal with it.
7.) No advertising. We will not be a source for you to get our members to purchase products, visit sites, and whatnot. However, you may post a link to sites only in your signature (Or if you're posting in the Recommendations thread). (EDIT: It's fine, however, if you are a regular member here and usually respond and contribute to topics on a regular basis. But I don't want people signing up here solely to harrass members with posts or forwarded PMs.)
